Highlands Elementary School is a transitional kindergarten (TK) through sixth-grade school located in Saugus, California. It is one of 15 elementary schools in the Saugus Union School District. A Message from Our Principal

Our mission at Highlands is to inspire all students to persevere, learn at high levels, and be kind individuals. We pride ourselves in the strong partnership in our community. We know that our student’s success is directly related to the partnership we share with our Highlands parents and families, so we appreciate and encourage family involvement and have strong programs in place to help our families and students get involved and feel supported.

Our Dual Language Immersion program is one of the greatest opportunities we offer as students enrich their learning in two languages. Our goal at Highlands is to provide a well-rounded program that meets the educational, social, emotional, and physical needs of all children. We focus on cultivating creativity, critical thinking, and collaboration. Working collaboratively with respect and dignity is what makes the world a better place!
